3 day tour in South Wales, June 2017. Day 1 was a 140k trip through The Mumbles and out to The Gower Peninsula, days 2 and 3 similar distances in the Breacon Beacons.

We had pretty mixed weather and the route on the first day was a bit naff (lots of traffic in places), but I really enjoyed the experience of doing 3 rides in a row.
Well organized event with good support throughout. The climbs in Wales are 250-450 meters, and steep (15%+) in places – really diverse. It’s quite similar to LBL, including the weather.
The Dragon ride itself, which is the ride done on the last day is the best route – I would recommend doing this just for the sportive itself – there are options to do 2/300K but I’m not up to that after doing two full days before!
I’d go back to this area in decent weather and tour around a bit.
