Coast Road North of Copenhagen, March 2016
I had a business trip to Copenhagen in March 2016 and borrowed a road bike from some friends that live in Copenhagen. I took a 110K trip up the coast past Helsingborg and back again. Very flat and a nice ride along by the sea – very quiet roads and most of the time you’re in a cycle lane. I saw very few other road cyclists, a couple in the whole ride.

In the afternoon that same day my friend took me on a cycle tour round the city. It’s more of a basket and bell type of cycle with lots of stopping at traffic lights and so on, but good fun all the same. Loads of loads of other cyclists!

I’d go back to Denmark and do some more cycling – my friends did a little tour up the coastal road which looked great. The terrain is very easy going and provided the weather held I would think it would make a week long tour.
